Marshall’s Mill Donates Easter Eggs to Leeds Women’s Aid
This Easter, the tenants at Marshall’s Mill came together to donate Easter eggs for Leeds Women’s Aid. A vital charity that provides support, advocacy, and emergency accommodation for women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse.
Hannah Eggeling, Fundraising Officer: ‘On behalf of Leeds Women’s Aid, thank you so much for organising an Easter Egg appeal for the children and young people staying in our emergency refuge accommodation.
I’d also like to extend our thanks to all the staff at Marshall’s Mill who supported your appeal and donated so generously. It means a great deal to the women and children we support to know that others are thinking of them. I’m sure the items will bring plenty of joy to the children and young people this Easter.’
A small act of kindness goes a long way – and this one certainly made a big impact.
