The Heritage Express Has Departed Marshall’s Mill

On Tuesday 17th September, we hosted our first ever off-site event The Heritage Express to celebrate Leeds Heritage Week. It was fantastic to see so many people join to step back in time and enjoy a nostalgic day out in the sunshine.

Guests boarded our 1960’s inspired bus at Marshall’s Mill reception, ready to set off on a journey through Leeds rich history. Along the way, we discovered fascinating stories, historic sights and the people and places that shaped the city into what it is today.

A standout from the trip was our lunchtime stop at the beautiful Roundhay Park, where guests enjoyed their 1960’s themed packed lunches. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, share good company and take in the views.

The Heritage Event was a wonderful way to celebrate the past while creating new memories together. From the sunshine and scenery to the laughter and conversation on board, the day captured the true spirit of community.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us. We hope you enjoyed the journey as much as we did, and we look forward to welcoming you on our next adventure.
