Box Architects and Digital Velocity make move into the Round Foundry and Marshalls Mill estate

Two growing creative agencies have chosen the Round Foundry and Marshalls Mill estate on Leeds South Bank as the ideal location to take their business to the next level. Box Architects and e-commerce agency Digital Velocity have recently moved into the area taking office space in 1 Foundry Square and Marshalls Mill respectively, joining other like-minded businesses in the established creative and tech community.
Box Architects has taken 2,900 sq ft office space on the second floor of 1 Foundry Square, moving from City Square, Leeds. Specialists in quality and contemporary design, the architecture practice was set up by Graham Place in 1998 from a small, one-person office. Now working across its Leeds and London offices, the company has a combined team of 30 working on new builds across the UK as well as commercial refurbishments such as 6-7 Park Row in Leeds and the Visa Innovation Centre, London. Its office on the Round Foundry estate will become the company’s headquarters. It will allow the Leeds team to expand in line with the company’s future growth. This deal was completed by joint agent on the estate, Knight Frank.
Digital Velocity, founded in 2015, moved to Marshalls Mill in May 2018, doubling their previous office size in the process. Specialising in ecommerce and website development, Digital Velocity provides enterprise solutions for businesses to thrive online. The team agreed to a sublet on a 1,566 sq ft space in a deal agreed with joint agent Creative Space Management, with 15 staff making the move from Huddersfield to Holbeck Urban Village, Leeds’s creative and tech hub. There are also plans for further growth, with an additional five employees expected to join the company by the end of the year on the back of new business wins.
