RUNNING OF MARSHALL’S MILL TAKEN OVER

CREATIVE Space Management has taken over the running of Marshall’s Mill after a major renovation of the Leeds office building.
Marshall’s Mill joins Electric Works in Sheffield and the neighbouring Round Foundry Media Centre in CSM’s portfolio.
Since the first phase of the building’s renovations were completed it has welcomed new tenants including All Response Media and Flashtalking as well as seen existing occupier True North expand its presence.
Paul Simmons, director at Igloo which owns the building, said: “Creative Space has done a fantastic job in raising the profile of the Round Foundry Media Centre and has already attracted a number of new companies to Marshall’s Mill.
“It was a natural next step for them to take over the management of the Mill, joining up the way it is managed and marketed.
“It’s a very exciting new chapter for this area, which has made its mark throughout the last century as a place which breeds pioneers of industry, and Creative Space is, and continue to be, an integral part of this story.”
Further refurbishment will take place at Marshall’s Mill later this year focused on the outside of the building and reception area.
Toby Hyam, director at CSM, said: “It’s fantastic to be working at Marshall’s Mill and the wider Round Foundry development, which act as a powerful hub for companies with a foot in the camps of both technology and creativity.
“As digital technologies increasingly reinvent traditional services and products, these types of exciting emerging companies will act as an engine for innovation and growth in the city-region economy.”
